International Symposium on Software Security

Following the successful ISSS 2002 (International Symposium on Software Security 2002; held in Keio University, Tokyo, 8-10 November 2002), we are pleased to announce that ISSS 2003 will be held in Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, on 4- 6 November 2003. The aim of the symposium is to provide a forum for research discussions and exchanges amaong world-leading scientists in the fields of both theoretical and system aspects of security in software construction.

The post-proceedings of this symposium is going to be published as a volume of Springer's Lecture Note in Computer Science.

From Shinagawa Prince Hotel
Walk to Shinagawa Station and take Keihin-Tohoku Line(Japan Railways) to Ooimachi Station. Transfer to Ooimachi Line (Tokyu Line) and get off at Oookayama Station. The train ride from Ooimachi Station to Oookayama Station is about 10 minutes.
From Miyako Hotel Tokyo
Walk to Shirokane-dai Subway Station. Take Mita Line (Tokyo Metropolitan Subway) or Namboku Line (Eidan Subway) to Meguro Station and continue the ride to Oookayama Station.
From Celestine Hotel
Walk to Shiba-Koen Subway Station. Take Mita Line (Tokyo Metropolitan Subway) to Meguro Station and continue the ride to Oookayama Station. If the final destination of the train is Shirokane-takanawa Station, take any trains to the same direction. Trains arriving on both sides of the platform go to the same direction.

Paper Submissions

Submitted papers must be original works not previously published. They must not be submitted concurrently to a journal or to another conference.

Submissions must be written in English and must not exceed 20 pages, including title page, figures and references. The title page must contain: title and authors; physical and e-mail addresses; telephone and (if available) fax number for the corresponding author; an abstract of no more than 200 words; a list of keywords. The format for camera-ready manuscripts should be that of Springer LNCS; instructions can be found in the LNCS home page at: http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html.

Submissions must arrive by September 20, 2003. Authors are invited to send an e-mail with subject "submission to ISSS2003" to the address isss-submit@fmx.cs.titech.ac.jp, which contains:

Notifications of acceptance will be sent by October 15, 2003. Concerning further questions about the submission procedure please contact isss@fmx.cs.titech.ac.jp.

Papers accepted by the Program Committee must be presented at the conference. Final versions of accepted papers will be due by December 25, 2003, and will appear in a proceedings volume, to be published by Springer Verlag in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series.
